Outdoor Club at the University of Oklahoma 

The Outdoor Club at the University of Oklahoma (OUOC) is OU's student-led community for outdoor adventure, exploration, and connection. Founded in 2020 and reestablished in 2025, our mission is to make the outdoors accessible, welcoming, and affordable for everyone, regardless of experience level.

We organize trips and events across Oklahoma and beyond, including hiking, camping, backpacking, climbing, shooting sports, mountain biking, kayaking/canoeing, and more. From the Wichita Mountains and Ozarks to the Rockies and beyond, we help students discover new places, build outdoor skills, and create lasting friendships.

Whether you're going on your first campout or leading your last trip, OUOC is a place to find community, leadership opportunities, and a lifelong love of the outdoors.
